Getting help when Bullied (Teens & Kids)

There are several things teens can do to resolve bullying.
  • IGNORE: A lot of teens will try to just ignore the bully and walk away. If they do this, the bully gets very mad and will try and target them way more then usual. Once you keep ignoring the bully they will realize you don't care too much about this and they will eventually give up and move onto another victim.
  • HOLD IN EMOTIONS: When teens are getting bullied they get very angry and just want to let it all out. If you hold in your anger things may get better. Try and keep your anger in by writing down your emotions then maybe rip and shread it to pieces to get out your anger.
  • TALK ABOUT IT: People talking to another person about there problems sometimes makes things easier. When teens are talking to other people about there situations will make them feel better because they are not just holding it in, they are letting it out to another person who cares.

When younger kids are getting bullied they cannot actually do quite as much as a teen can. Kids usually do not want to tell anyone when they are getting bullied because they get embarrassed and think that people might think different about this person because someone is picking on them for something about themselves. If a kid is going to tell anyone about the situation, they will usually go to there parents first. A kid should always go to any adult when they are being bullied instead of going to a friend like teens may do.

Yeah, it is best for kids to seek help from an adult, because, since they are older, they can help solve the problem so no one gets bullied anymore. Adults usually have the best advice when it comes to dealing with bullies, and help you to overcome being bullied. You do not want to get angry with your bullier because it will just cause mroe problems, just seek help from an adult, parent, grandparent, guidence counselor, the list just goes on and on...

If your bullied I don't think you should hold in your emotions. Because one day everything being kept in will burst, and you could end up getting in a fight and hurting someone. I think its best to talk about it.

I personally think that it is terrible for kids to hold in their emotions. They should always be able to talk to someone.
I also can see how kids would think that ignoreing the problem could help though.

I think if you are getting bullied you should really talk to someone about it. Because if you don't you could really be hurting yourself, at some point you are going to need to talk to someone about your problems to get out all of your emotions!
